LR-LINK LREC6220PF-SFP to zarządzalna karta sieciowa pracująca w standardzie gigabit ethernet. Wyposażona została w szynę PCI-Express. Karta nie posiada złącz światłowodowych - w ich miejsce udostępniona jest zatoka SFP.
 Karta zapewnia stabilne połączenia światłowodowe. Umożliwia wyeleminowanie media konwerterów i wycofanie z użycia miedzianej infrastruktury i złącza RJ45. 
Zasięg transmisji danych oraz rodzaj onsługiwanego światłowodu definiowany jest przez użyte moduły SFP. W skład zestawu nie wchodzi transceiver SFP.
